Crop PDF
Trim page margins or cut out a specific area.
How Crop PDF works
Trims page margins or cuts out a specific part of the page. Drag and resize the frame in the preview, or enter the margins in millimeters. "Detect white margins automatically" finds where the content ends.
Apply the crop to all pages or only to the current page. The tool shows the page's new size after cropping.
Frequently asked questions
Is the content in the cropped area deleted from the file?
Cropping changes the visible area of the page; content at the edges disappears from view but may still be in the file. To hide sensitive information, use Redact PDF instead.
Can I clean up black edges on scanned pages?
Yes. Crop the margins by hand or with automatic detection to remove the dark strips a scanner leaves behind.
Is Crop PDF free? Do I need an account?
It’s free and there’s no sign-up. We don’t ask for an email address and we don’t put a Yeti watermark on your file.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. The file is processed in your browser’s memory on your own device and is never sent to Yeti’s servers. The limit is 25 MB and 200 pages per file.
