How Crop Image works

Keeps the part of the image you want and cuts away the rest. Drag the frame to move it and pull its corners to resize it, or type the width, height and position in pixels. Preset ratios (1:1, 4:3, 3:2, 16:9, 9:16, 4:5) make profile pictures, cover images and social posts easy.

When you add several images, you can crop each one separately from the strip at the top, or apply a single area to all of them with “Apply the same crop to all images”. Cropping doesn’t change the quality of the part that remains.

Frequently asked questions

Can I crop a PDF page?

This tool is for images. To trim the edges of PDF pages, use Crop PDF.

Why does the image look small after cropping?

Cropping adds no pixels; what remains keeps its original resolution. If you need to use a small cropped area larger, enlarge it 2× or 4× with Upscale Image.

Is Crop Image free? Do I need an account?

It’s free and there’s no sign-up. We don’t ask for an email address and we don’t put a Yeti watermark on your file.

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. The file is processed in your browser’s memory on your own device and is never sent to Yeti’s servers. You can choose up to 20 images at a time, 25 MB and 24 megapixels each.
