How Create Form works
Adds fillable fields to any PDF: text fields, checkboxes, radio button groups, dropdowns and signature fields. Pick a field type in the toolbar and draw it on the page; fields can be moved and resized.
"Detect fields automatically" finds underscores, dotted gaps and ☐ boxes on the page and turns them into fields. For each field you can set the name, default value, whether it's required or read-only, the maximum number of characters and the font size.
Frequently asked questions
Will my form work in other programs?
Yes. Fields are added as standard PDF form (AcroForm) fields and can be filled in Adobe Acrobat Reader, browser PDF viewers and our Fill Form tool.
How do I make only one radio button selectable?
Give the buttons that belong to the same question the same group name; only one button in a group can be selected.
Is Create Form free? Do I need an account?
It’s free and there’s no sign-up. We don’t ask for an email address and we don’t put a Yeti watermark on your file.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. The file is processed in your browser’s memory on your own device and is never sent to Yeti’s servers. The limit is 25 MB and 200 pages per file.
