Document Properties
Edit metadata such as title, author and keywords and the opening view; inspect the fonts.
How Document Properties works
Edits a PDF's title, author, subject, keywords and document language. This information shows up in search engines, file managers and the window title of PDF readers.
You can also set how the document opens: which page it opens on, whether the navigation panel is shown, and whether the window title shows the document title instead of the file name. It also lets you inspect the fonts (embedded or subset), the PDF version, accessibility tags, and whether there's JavaScript, forms, attachments or a digital signature.
Frequently asked questions
How do I show the document title instead of the file name in the window title?
Turn on "Show the document title in the window title" and fill in the Title field.
How do I clean hidden information out of my document?
You can clear fields such as author and title here. To remove metadata, attachments, comments and scripts together, use Sanitize Document.
Is Document Properties free? Do I need an account?
It’s free and there’s no sign-up. We don’t ask for an email address and we don’t put a Yeti watermark on your file.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. The file is processed in your browser’s memory on your own device and is never sent to Yeti’s servers. The limit is 25 MB and 200 pages per file.
