Resize Image
Resize images in bulk by pixels or percentage while keeping their proportions.
How Resize Image works
Gives one or many images a new size. In Pixels mode you enter a width and height; with “Keep aspect ratio” on, each image is fitted into that box and is never stretched or squashed. In Percentage mode every image shrinks or grows by the same amount.
With “Don’t enlarge smaller images” on, images already below the target are left alone. Downscaling happens in steps, so thin lines and text don’t turn jagged. Files keep their format (JPG, PNG, WebP) and get the new size added to their name.
Frequently asked questions
Will enlarging an image improve its quality?
An ordinary enlargement adds no new detail, so the image gets softer. For a sharper result use Upscale Image, which works with AI.
Can I give images with different proportions the same size?
Yes. With “Keep aspect ratio” off, every image is set to exactly the size you enter, but images with other proportions get stretched. To match them without distortion, first crop them to the same ratio with Crop Image.
Is Resize Image free? Do I need an account?
It’s free and there’s no sign-up. We don’t ask for an email address and we don’t put a Yeti watermark on your file.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. The file is processed in your browser’s memory on your own device and is never sent to Yeti’s servers. You can choose up to 20 images at a time, 25 MB and 24 megapixels each.
