How HTML to Image works

Turns a web page, an HTML file or HTML code you paste into a single image: a full-page screenshot. Pick a screen width (wide, desktop, tablet or mobile) to capture how the page looks on that device; with “Full page” off, only the first screen is captured.

“High resolution (2×)” makes text sharper. The result is saved as JPG or PNG; very long pages are cut off at 24 megapixels. In web address mode the page and its images are fetched through the Yeti server; pages behind a login and content built later by JavaScript aren’t supported.

Frequently asked questions

Can I save the page as a PDF?

Yes. For a document split into pages with selectable text, use HTML to PDF.

Some pictures or fonts are missing from the image. Why?

Some sites load their images and fonts from other servers or with JavaScript, and the proxy can’t fetch all of them. Saving the page as HTML in your browser (“Save as”) and using HTML file mode often gives a better result.

Is HTML to Image free? Do I need an account?

It’s free and there’s no sign-up. We don’t ask for an email address and we don’t put a Yeti watermark on your file.

Are my files sent to a server?

An HTML file you pick from your computer, or code you paste, is processed in your browser. When you enter a web address, the page and its resources are fetched through our server so they can be loaded; the image itself is still created in your browser. Don’t use this mode for private links or addresses that contain personal information.
